Saiwen Medical selects between BSM 3D Master and ArgenZ zirconia for our restorations. We discuss the material and grade with your clinic according to the prescription, esthetic goals, restoration span and budget. Review material specifications, indications and their sources together before planning a case.
Source: BSM 3D Master pre-sales presentation, December 3, 2024. Specifications are manufacturer-reported values from that edition.
BSM’s December 2024 presentation reports 11 years of technical experience, a three-year development period and thousands of verification tests for 3D Master. These figures describe the material brand’s reported development background.

Graded strength from incisal to cervical
The presentation reports a flexural-strength gradient of 800–1200 MPa from the incisal edge to the cervical region, with fracture toughness ≥5.8 MPa·m1/2. Saiwen Medical uses this material for applicable zirconia restorations; design and suitability are confirmed against the prescription and material instructions.

03
Interlayer design and six-layer arrangement
BSM describes an interlayer interlocking design, illustrates the interface with SEM images and presents a seamless gradient. The arrangement is 20% incisal, 10% transition 1, 10% transition 2, 40% dentin, 10% transition 3 and 10% cervical. The dentin region is described as CAM-friendly.

04
Specific translucency and shade options
The deck lists translucency of 43%–51%, VITA 16 shades, OM1/OM2/OM3 and VITA 26 commonly used shades. Listed disc thicknesses are 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 25 mm. Shade and specification availability are confirmed for each order.
pp. 20–21
05
Material indications across restoration types
BSM lists inlays/onlays, veneers, partial crowns, full crowns, implant superstructures and multi-unit bridges up to 14 units. Saiwen Medical confirms each plan against the restoration type, prescription and material instructions.
p. 20
06
Masking and monolithic design options
The presentation describes a BSM masking-liquid option for implant abutments and a monolithic restoration approach that reduces production steps. Whether masking or a monolithic design is appropriate depends on the case requirements.
pp. 16–17
07
Processing times with defined conditions
The deck describes 90-minute fast sintering and a “9.5-hour half-arch long-bridge sintering” example. The long-bridge example requires an appropriate sintering curve and support design. These are processing references, not order-delivery promises; the production protocol and turnaround are confirmed for each order.
pp. 11–14
Six-layer arrangement
Different regions serve the incisal, dentin and cervical zones. Bar lengths represent the percentages shown on page 18.
The restoration photographs here come from pages 25–27 of BSM’s 3D Master presentation and illustrate material appearance. Saiwen Medical’s original product videos are displayed separately. These BSM photographs are not presented as Saiwen clinical cases or a guarantee of an individual treatment outcome.

What does the certification marking establish?
The material packaging images on pages 1 and 3 display CE 0197. The deck does not include a certificate, certificate number, scope or validity period. This image is not evidence of Saiwen Medical certification; current product-specific documents require separate verification for procurement.
Why are micron-level fit and zero distortion not promised?
Page 10 gives “actual data: <0.003”; page 21 gives 0.003. Units, test method and sample conditions are not specified. These values are not converted into micron-level fit, nor used to promise zero distortion, adjustment or fracture.
Can these temperatures and times be used as production instructions?
Page 15 states 1520–1560°C, while pages 21–24 state 1520–1550°C. Page 11 says 9.5 hours; the curve on page 12 ends at 585 minutes (9 hours 45 minutes). These differences are preserved here, not treated as processing instructions or a delivery commitment. Confirm the current instructions, equipment and specific program before production.
Does the deck include doctor credentials or clinical follow-up?
No named doctor biographies, professional credentials, case counts, sample sizes or follow-up results are supplied. Photographic examples are presented separately from clinical evidence.
